Uniforms and Heraldry Intern

  • Wrote reports recommending the acquisition of offered collections for the museum’s permanent collection, and presented the reports to the NMMC Collections Committee

  • Researched personal records (Muster Rolls, casualty cards, archival collections, etc.) of museum donors

  • Created condition reports for artifacts about to go on display

  • Logged in and numbered incoming donated collections, assisting the registrar office

  • Overhauled Uniforms and Heraldry section’s filing system for object records

  • Conducted individual project to study, catalog and enter records for over 250 World War Two Marine Corps patches into the museum database.

  • Conducted an inventory of the Foundation's collection (approximately 3,000 objects). Photographed objects, performed condition assessments, rehoused objects, and entered information into the PastPerfect database

  • Created a filing system for object records. Crosschecked Collections records with those of the Library and Development offices and filled gaps in the Collection records as needed
