Mission Statement
My mission as a museum professional is to build a stronger museum through:
-
troubleshooting to anticipate and avoid problems in collections,
-
making collections accessible, and
-
knowing and working towards museum best practice standards.
Emerging Museum Professional
I received my M.A. in Museum Studies from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in 2015. My focus in museums is collections management, although the graduate program is well rounded, and my courses, projects and internships have familiarized me with the other various roles in museums.
